This is personally one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. If you park by Valet, it is located right inside the door.

Reservations are not necessary, but recommended on weekends and evenings.

My company from out of town actually asked me to take them back because they loved the food.

Come try some genuine Chinese mushi chicken for a lunch in Las Vegas. Chang's prides itself on its fresh ingredients and homemade deserts.

Forget those Chinese take-out places----Chang's food is outstanding!!! Prices are moderate to expensive-Most under $25.00

Most Romantic Restaurant -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Andre's French Restaurant
401 S. Sixth St.
Las Vegas , NV

Oh, c'mon, what's more romantic than a French restaurant, with the staff uttering all of those romantic-sounding words and a menu filled with sensual, sensuous textures and flavors? And the fact that Andre's is cozy and intimate only adds to the picture. Pamplemousse -- another cozy French restaurant -- finishes a distant second.
Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Rosewood Grill
3339 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas , NV

Those almost human-sized lobsters that appear in the ads notwithstanding, Rosewood Grill has a nice, intimate atmosphere that's too special to leave to the tourists. Service is flawless and lighting is dim, and you and your loved one can lean into each other as you tuck into one of those big crustaceans.

Best Shrimp Cocktail -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Golden Gate
1 Fremont St.
Las Vegas , NV

You wouldn't think we'd leave this category out after 25 years, do you? Time and time again readers have proved this cozy, historic downtown casino to be synonymous with its shrimp cocktail. More suspenseful is to see what else will draw votes. But if you want to check out second-place Lady Luck then you're outta luck for a while, because the casino is being remodeled.

Golden Gate
1 Fremont St.
Las Vegas , NV

Why not? A buck doesn't buy what it used to, but it still buys a fine glass of shrimp in a town where everything else changes. Besides, the Golden Gate finally took down a framed copy of these results from years ago, where they "annotated" our sarcastic remarks with their own snippy retort. There's enough snippiness in these pages to go around.

Best Tropical Drinks -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Bahama Breeze
375 Hughes Center Drive
Las Vegas , NV

When readers think of umbrella drinks they think of Bahama Breeze, no doubt because it makes one of the best mojitos in town. But we'd be remiss not to mention the Bahamarita, with its kiwi, mango and strawberry ices frozen together with Cuervo gold, and the Bahama Mama, with its tropically flavored blend of orange and pineapple juices, banana liqueur and rum. Tropical Smoothie -- where, as far as we know, the drinks don't come with umbrellas -- finishes second.
Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Firefly on Paradise
3900 Paradise Road
Las Vegas , NV

We like Firefly because whether we get a pitcher of red or white sangria, either one is perfect -- just sweet enough, just dry enough, and best of all, chock-full of plenty of fruit. But we also like that we can get a pitcher full of minty mojitos there, and on a sultry evening on Firefly's patio, that's exactly what we have in mind.

Best Steakhouse -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Outback Steakhouse
multiple locations
Las Vegas , NV

This is another perennial category winner, perhaps because Outbacks are sprinkled all over town. But perhaps, too, it's because the no-rules-just-right menu seems to retain the old favorites -- including the ever-popular Bloomin' Onion, which probably draws more than its share of readers all by itself -- and at the same time periodically acquire new listings, all at prices families can afford. The considerably more upscale Ruth's Chris Steak House is a distant second.

Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse
8721 W. Charleston Blvd.
Las Vegas , NV

We like the casual-but-just-nice-enough atmosphere at Fleming's, and also the extensive wine list. But we also like the prime beef available in various cuts, and the fresh seafood that seems to complement it so well.
Las Vegas Review Journal online Pick
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
4561 W. Flamingo Road and 3900 Paradise Road
Las Vegas , NV

If you're serious about steak, this is the place to be. Sizzling strips, rib eyes and porterhouses await the diner along with great wines. And if you're the late-night type, you'll appreciate being able to eat well on your schedule. Great food doesn't come cheap, but the splurge will be worth it.

Best Prime Rib -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Jerry's Nugget
1821 Las Vegas Blvd. North
Las Vegas , NV

Years before Joel Robuchon came to town, "variety of dining" in a Las Vegas restaurant meant a choice between steak and prime rib, or whether you wanted the 8-ounce or 10-ounce cut of the latter. So we added a category in a nod to the old days, and discovered most of the people who cared must have died or moved on. Nonetheless, a smattering of voters make Jerry's Nugget the three-vote favorite over the Twin Creeks Steakhouse at Silverton. Jerry's is so hungry for attention that the menu boasts the "world famous" prime rib was "mentioned in USA Today." Cuts vary from $8.95 to the "very thick" cut for $29.70.
Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Sir Galahad's Prime Rib House
Excalibur, 3850 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas , NV

One of the few Excalibur restaurants to make it for the long haul, this one caught people's attention with its specialization and the fact that the featured attraction is wheeled around on a big silver cart. It's still a moderately priced place to salute the late Dr. Atkins in beefy style.

Best French Restaurant -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Andre's French Restaurant
401 S. Sixth St.
Las Vegas , NV

Andre's is a sentimental favorite in this category, and no wonder, because it has anchored its spot in a converted house on Sixth Street since 1980. Andre's is beloved for its Old World charm and country French decor, but also for a just-traditional-enough menu that has plenty of updated dishes such as black tiger shrimp ravioli with pomegranate sauce and creme fraeche, and sauteed tenderloin of venison wrapped in pancetta. Marche Bacchus is a distant second.

Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Marche Bacchus
2620 Regatta Drive, No. 106
Las Vegas , NV

Marche Bacchus has captured our hearts with great service in a casual spot, a lakeside view rare in the desert and an adjacent wine shop -- and a mere $10 corkage policy. The owners are as authentic as the name, and know how to serve such dishes as pan-roasted snapper, salmon Dijonnaise and a tarte Tatin like your French aunt used to make.

Best Wedding Chapel -- Reader's Pick
Las Vegas Review Journal Reader Pick
Little Church of the West
4617 Las Vegas Blvd South
Las Vegas , NV

Built in 1942, this perennial reader favorite is the oldest original structure remaining on the Strip -- although it has been relocated several times. You may like its dollhouse-quaint cedar exterior. But more likely, youýre familiar with its celebrity connections. Those who have tied the knot there include Richard Gere, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney and Betty Grable. Your second choice is the Little White Wedding Chapel.
Las Vegas Review Journal Staff Pick
Little White Wedding Chapel
1301 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas , NV

We prefer it here, because if you're going to get hitched on the Strip, why not go all out and do it drive-through style? The chapel's Tunnel Of Vows includes a ceiling painted with cherubs and stars. Plus, if you want to talk celebrity connections, there's no beating Frank Sinatra, Michael Jordan and Britney Spears. (Oh, and Mickey Rooney got married here, too. He got married lots of places.)
Las Vegas Review Journal online Pick
Vegas Wedding Chapel
320 South 3rd St.
Las Vegas , NV

The Vegas Wedding Chapel offers weddings for any budget from under $200 to almost $3,000 (still a bargain for most people). And like any other Vegas wedding chapel worth its salt, Elvis is available to participate in the ceremony. And if your friends and family can't make it, free Internet viewing is included in all the packages.
