For years, Las Vegas has been known as "Sin City", "The Gambling Mecca" and other assorted
"pet names", but people may fail to realize all the opportunities and attractions that are available for families to participate
in with their children. Sure, they may not be able to get into the casinos and late-night shows, but young people can enjoy
Las Vegas too!
We offer a wide variety of ideas to make your trip to Vegas With Kids, most memorable.
First, we show you a page of what you might choose to see , THE WILD SIDE and then we added
in some FREE things to do.
Then, we have set up 3 Separate pages. The first is for those who choose to remain the strip,
the page is titled KID FAVORITES. The second are for those families with transportation, and who are more adventurous and
wish to adventure OFF the STRIP ATTRACTIONS.
The third page is designed for those who wish to really get away, but not to far way from the
real hustle and bustle of the big City we call them DAY TRIPS.
ATTRACTIONS IN & AROUND LAS VEGAS
Below are a few of our Personal Favorites.

SIEGFRIED AND ROYS’ SECRET GARDEN & DOLPHIN HABITAT
"Magicians of the Century" Siegfried & Roy invite you to enter
into their Secret Garden where
Royal White Tigers, Magical White Lions, panthers, leopards.
This tropical atmosphere,
surrounded by palm trees and lush foliage, and a different world that is exotic, enchanting and full of adventure lies before
you. The exquisite animals enjoy relaxing in their environment, which was modeled after their natural habitats.
WHITE TIGER HABITAT the white tigers
are rotated continuously in and out of the facility throughout the day. When not appearing in the Habitat, they enjoy their
own spacious living environment and can be seen in the lush tropical environment of Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and
Dolphin Habitat.
ERUPTING VOLCANO
Hours of operation: Beginning at 8 pm, the volcano erupts every 15 minutes
until midnight.
Every 15 minutes after dusk, the Mirage Las Vegas's volcano explodes forth for crowds of curious Strip onlookers. As brilliant orange
flames light up the night sky about 100 feet above the water, the volcano creates its own ring of fire, similar to the famous
one in the Pacific
Ocean. As
the lagoon "catches" fire, several smaller explosions erupt. Those standing close can feel the intense heat.

THE LION HABITAT Behind glass walls that reach up to 35 feet, visitors can watch as lions feed, play, groom themselves (and of course,
sleep) while learning facts about lions that are displayed on placards outside the exhibit. When there are cubs, opportunities
are offered for pictures with them, for a fee of course.
The Lion Habitat at MGM Grand is open daily from 11
a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is complimentary.
To honor the lion and help safeguard its preservation for future generations, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino has created
a one-of-a-kind Lion Habitat as a showcase for public education and appreciation for this majestic creature of nature.
The
lion has been a part of the MGM heritage for many years, beginning with the legendary Leo, whose roars have welcomed generations
of moviegoers to epics of the silver screen.

Circus Circus 2880 Las Vegas Blvd.
South Las Vegas , NV
The circus comes to town every single day at this kid-friendly casino, which
couldn't delight the youngsters any more if it was spun from cotton candy. Featuring the world's biggest permanent indoor
circus, America's largest indoor theme park and tons of arcade games at the Carnival Midway, you will have to surgically remove
the smiles from your children's precious little faces. And while the kids are off having the time of their lives, the grown-ups
can do the same at Circus Circus? sizable casino. Everybody wins! Now if only we could say the same thing about the craps
table. GameWorks plays a mean game of "Pacman" in second.

The Alley Las Vegas , NV
Just because you can't buy beer doesn't mean that you should be denied concert tickets as well. And yet there are few
venues in town that cater to teens as much as to Budweiser aficionados. But, until early this year, The Alley was the rare
all-ages club. The homey venue brought in plenty of national names, mainly from the punk and emo circuit -- Anberlin, Halifax
and The Start, to name a few -- but it also served as a home base for scads of young, up and coming locals such as Fletch,
Camden and Ashbury. It was the place to go for fresh music and even fresher faces.

Manhattan Express New York-New York,
3790 Las Vegas Blvd. South Las Vegas , NV
You, fair readers, are far more courageous than us.
You have nerves of steel, and stomachs tougher than Chuck Norris. We know this, because for the fourth straight year you've
braved the Manhattan Express and named it the city's best amusement ride. You've subjected yourself to drops of 144 feet,
a terrifying vertical loop and a "heartline" twist at speeds as high as 67 mph. And somehow, you've lived to tell us about
it. Thanks for making us feel like a bunch of sissies. Stratosphere's Big Shot screams its way into second place.

Insanity at Stratosphere 2000 Las Vegas
Blvd. South Las Vegas , NV
Ever looked at the largest free-standing tower in the United States
and thought to yourself, "Gee, wouldn't it be fun to be suspended in midair from that bad boy and then get whipped around
and around at stomach-straining speeds until your face feels like it's going to melt like a burrito left in the microwave
too long?" Well, we have, and that's why we prefer this over those nerve-racking roller coasters. Not that Insanity doesn't
live up to its name. A giant arm that extends 64 feet out over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower, Insanity spins riders at
40 mph, generating three Gs of centrifugal force 900 feet above the Strip. It makes you feel like an astronaut. A very frightened
astronaut. | |
