in their care. Some of the Las Vegas free attractions listed below have the restriction that children under 21 are not allowed on casino floors.
AIR PLAY AT THE TROPICANA
Hours of operation: 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm daily. With acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and more, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino makes the
most of the space directly under its famous Tiffany glass ceiling by setting up a stage atop a bank of slot machines. In addition
at the 7 pm
and 9 pm
shows, a team of four dancers, with a male and female singer, perform a variety of music, which changes at every performance.
Those under the age of 21 are not allowed on the casino floor.
BONNIE & CLYDE GETAWAY CAR AT PRIMM VALLEY RESORT
Hours of operation: Open daily, 24 hours.
This display at the Primm Valley Resort (about 40 miles south of Las Vegas) not only includes the original car that the infamous
robber couple of the 1930s died in, but also the shirt Clyde died in, old Barrow family photos, and a few handmade items manufactured
by Clyde himself in prison.
CBS TELEVISION CITY RESEARCH CENTER AT MGM GRAND
Hours of operation: Call ahead (702) 891-5752) for schedule and details on screenings. Age restrictions: Children must
be at least ten years of age and accompanied by an adult. Ever thought you could do the job of a network executive, deciding
which shows are put on the air and which ones end up in the waste bin? The network jobs are hard to come by, but you can weigh
in on the decision-making process by letting your opinions be known at the CBS Television City Research Center at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.
CONSERVATORY AT THE BELLAGIO
Open daily, 24 hours. Crafted by a team of 100 horticulturalists, the Bellagio conservatory features elegant, elaborate
arrangements of plants and flowers in its bright, airy atrium. The picturesque arrangements, water fountains, and pagoda make
the conservatory a perfect spot to snap a photo or stop for lunch (the restaurant, Aqua, has a patio facing the garden).

Open daily, 8:30 am - 7 pm Ethel M Chocolates panders to the sweet tooth in all of us. Located five miles from the Strip, its free admission
entices us to the factory, through which many a visitor funnels for a behind-the-scenes look at the candy-making (and tasting)
process, which is explained step-by-step by panels and television monitors.
FOUNTAINS AT THE BELLAGIO
Hours of operation: Mon. - Fri., 3 pm - midnight. Sat. and Sun., noon - midnight. The fountains in front of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino
run every half hour until 8 pm and every 15 minutes after that until midnight when there aren't high winds. Every evening, a water and music show plays again and
again in the spectacular fountains filling the quarter-mile long lake in front of the Bellagio. The show runs every 15 minutes
or every half hour, depending on the time of year (the fountains are still in high winds). The fountains' pattern, which varies
with the season, is choreographed to a number of different pieces of songs.
FOUNTAIN SHOWS AT CAESAR'S PALACE FORUM SHOPS

The “Fall of Atlantis” fountain show, located next to the Cheesecake Factory, is one of Vegas' best-attended attractions,
and rightly so -- it's free. As the children of Atlas fight for control of Atlantis, the animatronic figures come to life
in this dazzling, high-tech production. But the Gods have another idea - the skies part, fire rains down and a 20-foot winged
beast watches over the destruction. At the west end of the mall is the Festival Fountain show which features an animatronic
discussion between Bacchus, Venus, Apollo and Plutus and a laser light show.
FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE ON FREMONT STREET
IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

in the street with its $70 million light canopy and 540,000-watt sound system. Positioned 90 ft above Fremont Street, the attraction stretches 1400 ft
and consists of 12.5 million synchronized LED modules, including 180 strobes and 8 robotic mirrors per block.
LAS VEGAS PREVIEW STUDIOS AT THE VENETIAN LAS VEGAS
Hours of operation: Open daily,
11 am - 9 pm Age/Height restrictions: Varies based on type of show. Take part in the advertising and product testing of a wide
array of products, including movie trailers, television shows, slot machines and even food. Become a part of the process and
give your opinion on the latest products.
LION HABITAT AT MGM GRAND
Hours of operation: Open daily, 11 am - 10 pm Housed in the MGM Grand
Hotel and Casino behind glass walls that reach up to 35 feet, visitors can watch as lions feed, play, groom themselves (and
of course, sleep) while learning facts about lions that are displayed on placards outside the exhibit.

- Fri., 8 am - 4:45 pm Sat., 10 am - 2 pm with displays of Western culture, desert life and the history of ancient Mexico, the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History is both educational and vibrant.
Exhibits that explain genetic adaptations of desert reptiles (which have allowed them to withstand desert heats of 115 degrees
Fahrenheit and higher) are enhanced by display tanks containing those animals. Gila monsters, iguanas, coach whip snakes and
the Western Whiptail, Nevada's most common lizard, have adapted well to the museum -- they're lively and energetic. Desert
tortoises get a chance to stretch their legs in an open-air exhibit.
MASQUERADE SHOW IN THE SKY AT THE RIO SUITE HOTEL & CASINO
Hours of operation: 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm daily. Masquerade Village will be dark November 15, 2004 - November 19, 2004 and December
15, 2004
- December 25, 2004. It's Mardi Gras Vegas-style at the Rio Suite Hotel Casino's Masquerade Village. Revelers are immersed in the sights and sounds of
the world's most famous carnival. It's more than a sky show that takes place in the Masquerade Village -- which, patterned
after a northern Italian village, features shops, restaurants and a wine cellar -- the party begins with a parade led by Rio
Rita, with acrobats, mimes and the like -- a true party in which patrons mingle with performers.
M&M WORLD NEXT TO MGM GRAND
M&M World which is next to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
may be the most delicious attraction in Las Vegas. Located in the Showcase Mall, the mouth-watering exhibit features Red,
Yellow, and their chocolate-covered counterparts at work hocking everything from T-shirts to golf club covers to calculators
(with M&M's as buttons). The first floor of the 26,000-square foot, four story attraction features the spokes candies
in their very own "movie set," which provides patrons the perfect photo opportunity.
NEON MUSEUM ON THE EAST END OF FREMONT STREET IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

only are the signs historical, with their spectacular colors, intricate animation and sheer size, they are also considered

the month. Call 295-0945 to make arrangements. The Nevada Test Site History Center provides visitors the opportunity
to learn the role test site workers played in the defense of the United States. Displayed as a timeline from 1950
to the present, the history center tells the story of the United State's nuclear testing program, with exhibits on Camp Desert
Rock, the military's role in atmospheric nuclear testing, NASA's astronaut training and more.
RON LEE'S WORLD OF CLOWNS

Hours of operation: Mon. - Fri., 8:30 am - 4:30 pm this whimsical look at the production of clown sculptures is a
short drive from the Strip in Henderson. Ron Lee started out creating wildlife drawings in his father's garage in 1976. As
his love of clowns took over, he kept expanding, until finally, he moved to Henderson in 1994 to the factory on Carousel Way. Soon the self-made artist was creating
sculptures for Warner Brothers and Disney, but he kept a local bent on his work -- one piece, for example, features Bugs Bunny
standing beneath the famous Las Vegas welcome sign. And collectors and curious visitors can visit the factory and get a first-hand
view of the creative process.
THE SIRENS OF TI AT TREASURE ISLAND
Hours of operation: 7, 8:30, 10 and 11:30 pm nightly. Part muse, part temptress, part pirate, the Sirens
of TI battle a band of pirates in Sirens' Cove, located at the front entrance of the popular Treasure Island Las Vegas Hotel
and Casino. The 12-minute show offers music, energy, dance, temptation, danger, excitement, sensuality and seduction on a
"stage" the size of four football fields filled with water.
SUNSET STAMPEDE AT SAM'S TOWN
Hours of operation: 2, 6, 8 and 10 pm daily. The stampede at Sams
Town has been around about five years. Located in Sams Town's Mystic Falls Park, a 25,000-square-foot live forest within an
atrium, the eight-minute show begins with the bellow of an animatronic wolf, which appears as if from nowhere from his home
in the mountain side. The fountains at Sams Town then come alive as they dance along to a symphonic journey through the Wild
West. The music includes, but is not limited to, the sounds of nature, the fury of the Gold Rush, the lonely cowpoke riding
the range.
TIANA CARROLL'S BIRD SHOW AT THE TROPICANA
Hours of operation: 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm daily (except Thurs.). Tiana Caroll's free bird show at
the Tropicana features a variety of feathered friends -- Mariah, a green-winged macaw, Mango, a Malaccan cockatoo, Dorothy,
a yellow-nape Amazon, and Meko, a Congo-African grey parrot doing a number of tricks during a 20 minute show.
VOLCANO AT THE MIRAGE
Hours of operation: Beginning at 8 pm, the volcano erupts every 15 minutes until midnight. Every 15 minutes after dusk, the
Mirage Las Vegas's volcano explodes forth for crowds of curious Strip onlookers. As brilliant orange flames light up the night sky
about 100 feet above the water, the volcano creates its own ring of fire, similar to the famous one in the Pacific Ocean. As the lagoon "catches" fire, several
smaller explosions erupt. Those standing close can feel the intense heat.
WILDLIFE HABITAT AT THE FLAMINGO HILTON
Open daily, 24 hours, The Flamingo Hilton Las Vegas's brilliant
neon sign is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable on the Strip. And visitors can take a closer look at the creatures that
inspired the bright display at the hotel-casino's very own wildlife habitat. Full of photo opportunities, the habitat is filled
with lush foliage imported from around the world including varieties of pines, palms and magnolia. Visitors can take a stroll
on winding walkways alongside streams and waterfalls or on bridges over lagoons and ponds. Benches scattered throughout the
area allow guests the chance to sit back and enjoy the view.
WHITE TIGER HABITAT AT THE MIRAGE
Open daily, 24 hours. Siegfried & Roy's famous white tigers are living in style at the Mirage Las Vegas. The sparkling, multi-million dollar
habitat offers visitors a free peek at the majestic animals. The showcase features a pool, waterfalls at both end and an all-white
background designed to lend the tigers a sense of security.
